Bao.From a pink van.
Fluffy steamed buns, folded and filled to order. We park up in Castlefield on Fridays and Saturdays, and somewhere new most other days. Card only, no cash.
Where’s the van?
Most weeks look like this. Rain, breakdowns and private bookings change it; check Instagram on the day.

Book the van
Weddings, work dos, birthdays in the back garden. We bring the van, the bao and two of us to serve, and we leave the place cleaner than we found it.
- From £600 for up to 80 people (two bao each and fries).
- Within 25 miles of Manchester. Further is possible with a travel charge.
- We need a flat space about 6m by 3m with van access. We have our own power.
- Saturdays in summer book up by March.

Quick answers
Do you take cash?
No, card and phone only. It keeps the queue moving.
Can I order ahead?
Not at markets, sorry. For office lunches of 20 or more, email us a few days before.
Is it halal?
The chicken is halal. The pork is, obviously, not. We use separate fryers for each.
Do you do gluten free?
Not yet. We’re testing a rice-flour bun that doesn’t fall apart.
